Some examples of Ms. Beck's mediation experience include: Personnel Mediations: Served as a mediator for numerous personnel grievances for the Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and a local county. In addition to resolving the immediate issues, in each case, Ms. Beck helped educate the parties about the nature of conflict, the conflict cycle, appropriate timing for successful resolution of conflicts, and how to recognize when conflict is escalating so that the cycle can be interrupted before relationships are damaged. Agricultural Producer Mediations: Beck Consulting was retained for three successive years by the Farm Services Agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture to mediate disputes related to FSA loan programs. Mediations were conducted in Columbus, Gt. Falls, and Plentywood, Montana for the FSA. Field Office Working Relationships: Ms. Beck has been brought in to assess, develop recommendations, and facilitate sessions for offices where communications had broken down and working relationships were no longer effective. |
